Object identification

There is a finds identification day held at the Grosvenor Museum the third Monday of every month, with a Finds Liaison Officer. The Finds Liaison Officer will help identify your find, and log it onto a national database as part of the Portable Antiquities Scheme.

Finds Liaison sessions run from 10:30am-3.30pm. You can just turn up, but it’s advisable to make an appointment on the day. For more information, or to book an appointment on the day, please call 01244 972197.
